Did any of you mommies have to have surgery to repair things after you had your baby?

I am going to see a urologist next Tuesday because my doctor thinks the muscles that hold my urethra in place have been ripped during childbirth and I may have a kink in my urethra now. This is causing a small bit of urine to reflux back into my urethra causing me to have chronic UTI’s and kidney infections. So, he said I probably need corrective surgery.

Oh my- YES! I had to have my bladder reconstructed and I had diverticulums on my urethra and bladder. Basically air pockets. The surgery wasnt that bad.
