What is the best brand multi-vitamin for an active person?

I take solaray. Is there a better brand that is obsorbed well into body? Both vitamins and minerals?

I do not think taking vitamin supplements (unless you have a serious deficiency, biological disorder, illness) is the correct approach.
A balanced daily meal of major food groups will provide all the required vitamins a body would need.
Vitamins are not storeable in the body. Excess is discharged.
If not, it could cause serious biochemical reactions which will permanently cripple you or make you dependent on it – like a drug addict.
As you are active, the main goal is oxygen distribution throughout the body. Vitamins do not assist with oxygen distribution. They are like caulking repairing the cells that has been used or chipped.
If you really need to add vitamins into your body, example vitamin C, simply drink or eat more fresh citrius fruits – they provide the vitamin C you need, and as a bonus fibre to clean your alimentary system.
There is not evidence excess vitamins are good for the body. In fact, one serious side effect of overdose of vitamins is constipation. Perhaps leading to colon cancer. Do you really want this?
