For those familiar with microdermabrasion – a few questions!?

I’m thinking of having it done as I have enlarged, clogged pores and a mild case of rosacea. I also have sensitive skin, and I have the option of paying an additional 20$ after the microdermabrasion treatments to calm and smooth my skin. But in regards to the procedure, I have the option of a “crystal” treatment, or a “diamond tip” treatment. What are the differences between the two? Is one better than the other? What are your opinions? And should I even bother paying for the sensi peel after the treatments with the extra 20$ ? All in all, if you have any comments at all regarding microdermabrasion, please feel free to let me know about them. I’m completely new to this stuff. Thank you!!

First of all, I believe rosacea is a clear contraindication for microderma (the procedure stimulates blood flow to the treated area, thus aggravating the flushing and itchiness that make rosacea such an annoying skin condition).
If your doctor says it’s okay, then you can try the procedure… but i would be very careful (some will say its ok to do it just to take your money and the damage to your skin is not taken into consideration).
The diamond tip is a bit more precise and safe to be used around the eyes. i would choose that one.
