Instead of using the proactiv renewing cleanser, can I use an antibacterial soap?

I just wanted to know that if I use an anti-bacterial soap instead of the renewing cleanser, would it harm my face?

Normal cleansers do not dry out the skin, which soap does , unless it is something like Dove. You do get antibacterial cleansers for the face which can be used by people having very sensitive skin. Try that. Best to avoid using soap.

That said, generations of women and men, were brought up using soap to clean themselves including the face before the 1970′s, and human civilization has been around for many centuries after soap was invented. No one has been known to die after using soap!
