I’ve gotten rid of the pimples, but how to I stop the blackheads???

I have finally found a skincare routine that has more or less stopped me from getting pimples, with the occasional one here or there, but I cannot stop blackheads from forming. I know it’s almost impossible to get rid of them completely, but isn’t there at least a way to lessen them to an extent where I would not have to worry about them all the time? I still get many on my forehead and on/around my nose. Even if I use a blackhead extractor they simply are back the next day. I have also begun drinking water more frequently every day in hopes that it will help. Any advice???
