Would I still receive Financial Aid if my parents PLUS loan is in default?

My parents got a Plus loan for my education @ my previous college. Unfortunately, they are unable to pay and are in default. Would this still affect my financial Aid (Pell and Cal Grant)?

This is a very good question. I don’t think it will. Obviously your parent’s cant get another PLUS loan and if that loan was just for one year, you arent going to be able to borrow enough in federal money to cover that kind of expensive school.
