who to straighten hair without a flat iron, and what to do with broken chi.?
so sadly my beautiful chi straightener broke in half the other day, (the cord got wrapped around my foot and fell) so i have no way to straighten my hair unless i use my yucky old conair one. So how can I straighten my hair without a straightener? My hair isant super curly its mostly loose waves but they get poofy. Also what should i do with my chi, i sent the place an e mail but they still havent emailed me back, and it was a gift so I dont have a receipt but i only got it in August. so yeah how to straighten my hair and what should i do with my poor chi.
I think you are stuck on the chi since it got broken and didn’t fail – you will have to get a new one. Actually I had chis and the stupid power cords kept failing on them after about 6 months. I finally gave up and got a Sedu and actually liked it much better.
As for your hair, instead of straightening, go wavy/curly. I learned to do this by reading a book recommended by my stylist called Curly Girl. Wash your hair without using shampoo – use a good quality conditioner instead (sounds weird, but it works and I promise it won’t be greasy). Then press the excess water out gently after rinsing and use a good quality gel. Let it air dry and if you don’t have time blow dry on low with a diffuser. It will be wavy but not poofy.
