Sonnet interpretation?

Can someone help me to interpret this sonnet By Samuel Daniel?

I once may see when years shall wreck my wrong,
when golden hairs shall change to silver wire,
and those bright rays that kindle all this fire
shall fail in force, their working not so strong;
then Beauty, now the burthen of my song,
Whose glorious blaze the world doth so admire,
must yield up all to tyrant Time’s desire;
then fade those flowers which deck’d her pride so long.
When, if she grieve to gaze her in her glass
which then present her winter-with’red hew
go you, my verse, go tell her what she was,
for what she was she best shall find in you.
Your fieiry heat lets not her glory pass,
but, phoenix-like, shall make her live anew.

In order to understand the poem, you have to concentrate on the notion of time passing. At the moment when the speaker is writing his sonnet to Delia, she is refusing his love (it is the main theme of the sonnet sequence), and so he imagines that when she is old and withered, she can read in his verse about the beauty that she had. The written lines will still celebrate her beauty and make it immortal (“lets not her glory pass”) or even make it alive again, like a phoenix.
