What is the reference frequency of light people use to construct 3-D models of the world?
When working with holographic films and the process to capture an image on them; a coherent light sources beam is split then an interference pattern between the two is reconstructed on a film surface. It is this interference pattern and the information it contains that forms 3-D image. A few questions come to mind:
1: Do people with normal depth perception use a certain frequency of light as a reference to construct a 3-D model of the world?
2: If so, is this frequency constant or does it vary from person to person based upon the distance their eyes are apart, the focal depth from their lens to their retina, and the specific photochemistry occurring?
3: If not, what is the frame of reference used by the mind to transform individual angles each eye views to an form a 3-D image?
Any frequency of light will due, but usually near red or infared is used, because its easy to get Lasers in that frequency range
