Question about Saint Laurent Street in Montreal?

Im going shopping in Montreal in a week or so, when I go, I usually go to Catherines street, but my fashion sense is more edgy now, and I’ve heard that you can find more edgy/unique little stores or boutiques in Saint-Laurent street, is this true???? and is so, what are some good stores???
