Has anyone tried Bath and Body Works new skin care line “Wexler?”?
What has your experience been? I was so excited to try it because the BBW associates hyped it so much. It is actually the worst skincare I’ve ever used. What has your experience been?
The only thing I used was the stuff to plump your lips. It makes my lips tingly, and I honestly don’t see any change after 2 weeks.

Steel and Shade: The Architecture of Donald Wexler $41.92 This first monograph on Donald Wexler also provides a comprehensive view of an architectural practice that spanned over sixty years in Palm Springs during what Wexler calls the "golden years" of California architecture. Wexler’s practice began with the design of prefabricated houses and portable classrooms constructed of light gauge steel. The extremes of the desert climate forced Wexler to develop a sustainable architecture, which was not only successful functionally, but achieved a timeless aesthetic appeal. He pioneered commercial and residential construction using steel and prefabrication. He applied his groundbreaking techniques and unique style to projects for clients such as Dinah Shore, Frank Sinatra, the Alexander Construction Company, and Walt Disney World Resort. During his career he designed numerous houses and condominium complexes, as well as banks, office parks, and schools. "Steel and Shade" includes over 150 color plates and architectural drawings; two essays by co-curators Lauren Weiss Bricker, professor of architecture at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and Sidney Williams, curator of architecture and design at the Palm Springs Art Museum; an interview with architect Donald Wexler and FAIA and structural engineer Bernard Perlin; a complete project list; and a bibliography. Donald Wexler, born in South Dakota in 1926, remains one of the most influential and famous architects to leave his mark on modern and midcentury architecture in the Palm Springs area. He still resides in Palm Springs. Today his work is garnering new appreciation worldwide and providing inspiration for a new generation of architects. |
