ive been depressed for a year, please help?
kay this is hard to talk about but oon march 9th of last year my best friend passed away due to cancerr. she had been struggling with it for a yearr. when she was diagnosed i found that i indulged in boys and alchol and went from a good student to a lesser student. when she died, i lost interest in going out , going to parties, just having friends over, i even lost interest in baketball and soccer the sports that i used to excel at. i feel like my life is going by soo quickly and all im doing is watch it, days come and go and im not even realizing its going. i have trouble sleeping and lie awake thinking not only of my friend but other things as well. i also turned very angry, i went from listening to coutry music to rap music and swearing more and more. i get into fights with my parents all the time. i have also gaied weight from this. ive had the option of going to talk to someone, but im bad at letting my feelings out… and i realllly dont want to talk to someone. any suggestions?
I know you don’t want to – but maybe you could go talk to someone. You can participate in the decision and maybe interview a few people until you find someone you’re comfortable with. You don’t even have to let out your feelings. Just having someone to talk with about life can help.
