How do you apply Aloe Vera gel on your face?

I just purchase a fresh aloe vera from supermarket but how do I apply it? I mean just simply rub the gel on the face and that it or there are some other methods I can use? How long do I need to wait before I wash it off?

You apply it like you apply on lotion. You don’t need to wash it off at all, it’ll work better that way because it’ll absorb into the skin more.
